Day 74: The Deception of Hope --- parents please read this!

Our grandfathers had hope in their children and our parents have hope in us - and I should have hope in the future generations. But I don't. What I mean is that hope in this world has proven to fail and it does not work. There is no point in me having a child and project all my best wishes in the new being, based on the regret of not having done enough on my side. Can you see how humanity has been postponing evolution? We are passing on the plate hoping that someone cleans the mess for us. This is the so called sin of the fathers...I realise that deception exists where there is expectation - and expectation comes from Hope, and
  

Hope only exists when I am unwilling to be part of the change. 

It is interesting that I never considered such point - because in our society hope is a "nice" word. It is socially accepted and makes one feel good about preaching it. Indeed, hope is very much preached in Christianity. So we should ask ourselves: Why are we promoting hope, instead of doing something about the so-hopped-change we are eager to see happening? Recently, while writing on my way home, I saw children playing on the pavement: they were smiling and enjoying themselves in full expression, while on the bus adults were quite, most probably coming back from work and no smiles at all...For a moment I wished the children to keep that joy for ever - because the majority of the adults do not seem to keep it.  But soon I realised that such "hope" was stupid, unless I would lie to the children and make them believe that they will enjoy this Life the best way possible... unfortunately the majority of the children will soon come across the reality of this economic system and become the adults on the bus on their way home, full of debt and lost dreams. So instead of hoping that they will "do something about it" I rather stand up now! There is no need to have hope in the future if we practice the best for all in the present. That is why I have been writing and expressing my support for the Equal Money System -- which would give us all a new start, since money would be used to create Life for ALL unconditionally. No more survival, no more deception, no more lies to children and no more broken smiles...

The other point that is really important to consider, specially if you believe that the next generations will do wonders, is that the future generations are a reflection of who we are in the present. There is no magic. Children will copy what they see around them. That is why each one is responsible for oneself, and together we are all responsible for the outcome of our Lives on earth. Remember that the new-born children come from our bodies and the patterns will pass on in the DNA.

Grandfathers, parents and children are all in the same process of self-perfection. If you have replaced your self-trust by Hope, then it is time for you to bring yourself here and trust yourself.

Write down the fears, hopes and desires that are holding yourself back, forgive yourself and get ready to become an example to yourself. How come parents hope their children to be successful if they define themselves as losers?

There is no point in hopping for children to bring about a change if we believe that we are unable to change the world ourselves.

 

There is real action that depends on us to be done.

Day 64: How much time do we have?

In a society where time is money, I ask yourself: how much time do you have? How much time would you like to have? Why and what would you do with that time? How have you been spending your time?

Imagine a world ruled by time where people’s lives are dependent on the time they own; people have to work to earn time and each action costs time. For many time is a limitation, for others not even the sky is the limit since they can have hundreds of years. Once you reach 25 you have to work to win time, otherwise your time is over and you die. There are different zones, the rich and the poor, according to the time people have to spend. In order to keep the population controlled, the time things cost is constantly changing, as well as the interest rates are always increasing, and people find themselves without enough time to survive. This is what the film “In Time” with Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried is about.

Now: read the first paragraph again replacing the word time by money.

 – what do you find? Can you see how real this story is?

Interestingly, I would say that this is exactly how the world system works and how money is used today.

The main character of the film is from the ghetto and he receives 600 years after meeting a rich man who does not know what to do with the centuries of life he’s got. Will decides to use this time to bring justice to the system. In his mission he meets Sylvia, the rich daughter of the main owner of the time bank and together they will bring the system down by sharing the time equally to everyone – as she says “stealing what has been already stolen is not a crime”.

In this context I ask ourselves: How can we humans accept that some live decades while others cannot even survive the first day of their life?

The current system is definitely broken, just like the majority of citizens. Why do people seem to fear the system to change? Aren’t we intelligent enough to fix capitalism? Do we need some kind of super heroes to fight a system that is everyone’s responsibility?

Now: Imagine a world where everyone has equal money. By this, the fear of survival, the fear of losing, the fear of not getting a job and the fear of failing will simply not exist. People have all the time in the world to contribute to the world and to develop their fullest potential. Here there is no 1^st or 2^nd class since everyone is considered equally. Products are not built to break because there is no profit out of it – so all we have is quality products that will last to the future generations. Children spend time with their parents and people can swap houses easily because property is no longer an asset. A place where you give what you receive, enjoying yourself in giving the best of you. Justice is based on common sense and what is best for all. This is what the book Equal Money is about.

Nowadays, when I watch these kind of films I immediately think about solutions - in fact, there's no point in accumulating knowledge and information without applying it appropriately! I see that this is the big challenge we have ahead and changing the world towards equality is definitely not a waste of time.

Day 62: Tired, desperate and old to change the world??

Where is people’s will to change the world?

Are we tired, desperate and old?

That cannot see the hole we are putting ourselves into

Obsessed with a short vision, disregarding the horizon

That is common everywhere.

How many times did we fail this mission

To make this place a better world for All?

Do children ever find the agenda behind decisions?

The deception we barely see,

Does adulthood bring blindness?

You can test it yourself, in every moment

Are you breathing?

Or are you walking with your eyes closed,
Because you've been on this road before.
Your body is here
You have been here,

But you’re letting the moment expire

Where were you in that thought?

Somewhere in the past and half way to the future

Holding back

To that backchat in your mind

That makes you mad.

Can you fix yourself? Give it a go and let it show
