Day 68: The mind is the backstage... Shakespeare was almost there

The backchat within my mind is the script that I have been following for too long. The same story in different pages.

Shakespeare was almost right when saying that Life is a stage - in fact, we already realised that we are all actors, personas with multiple masks, mind bipolarity and social esquizofrenia. The script is the backchat that one practices in the invisible silence of one's mind.
How close was shakespeare! But the stage is not Life yet.
What we see and call "Life" is us in scene playing as pre-programmed minds. Why it is written on our script to believe in what is written?  The bigger the script, the bigger are the beliefs. The years have passed...
What if one stops participating as the mind?

Who are you without your beliefs, memories, thoughts, habits, opinions? By deconstructing the mind, one can in fact take a step out of  the stage and start Living. Step by step. Breath by breath. Here for Real.

Day 67: Poverty: a daily holocaust

Do we really need a Memorial day to stop repeating the past?
Living of memories is not living - it is in fact a brainwashing, to keep us enslaved to the "way things have been" and justifying the atrocities that exist just in front of us. The perspectives we have over the past are definetely shaping the future - living in memories is a step to repeat mistakes in a time-loop. Let's now fix what can be fixed before is too late.

Holocaust victims = 11 - 17 million (in six years)
Victims of poverty related diseases = 14 million every year

Poverty is a daily holocaust but it does not make the news anymore.

Do we need to feel pain to realise that we are alive?
Do we need to feel pain to see that suffering is real?

I also used to be on the surface of History but now I see that the issues humanity faces are deeper than what I could ever conceive. We know as little of History as we do about ourselves - where do our thoughts come from? How do memories feed the mind? How is our action manipulated by images?...

My respect upon humanity is in guaranteeing that not even one more child suffers, or lives surounded by war, or in poverty, or feeling sick without care, or in stress, violence, shame, cold. No matter where a child is born, my job as a human being will be to make sure that every child born into this world will have the best of everything that is required for a good living. Here is the potential world we have in front of us. But it is easier to organise one-day event than to really put work and resources into fixing this economic system.

Day 66: Self-religion of the ego, memory and holy-interest

The trinity is complete: the blidness of the ego in the prison called memory, all in the name of a holy-interest.
The religion of self is a room of mirrors where rightousness binds one's boundaries. Man-made boundaries... Manifested in the entities called countries separated based on beliefs, ideas, notions of security, language and fear towards one another.
Humans in a constant time-loop, found in images and lost in expectations, enslaved in the script that has never changed. Our memories are covered by the perception that somewhere in the past things were alright... Feeling guity for changing and leaving years behind. The fear of losing the years that one bought throughout time.

The blindness towards equality is the manifested pollution in the air... Too much smoke in the air. Too much bulshit... Too many empty words for the sake of survival.
One thing that human beings rarely do is to forgive themselves. Curiously, the ego-religion (or a religion towards a private god), people pray to be forgiven, to be accepted and be recognised for the sacrifices one makes. Such delusional altruism never worked otherwise there would be no poverty, starvation, sex-slavery, prostitution, famine, war, violence, domestic-violence, abuse etc.

How holy is our belief? Is it worth to stay on the same train track that goes in circles?
How special is your relationship with Your god? Is it special at all?
Why don't we listen to each other instead?
Can you see your neighbour? D o you know your neighbour? Why would you meed your neighbour in first place?
Does the idea of a golden heaven justify the dark suffering created for real on Earth?

All beliefs define a line in the physical world that did not exist. Separation is man-made.

Until when will we avoid facing that which we have become?

Self-interest is a principle of survival. Survival comes from the money systems . The money systems are man-made.
Human beings forgot that survival was a temporary transition and we completely got used to it, based on the MEMORY and the holy-hope that good days will come, without moving a finger. Remember, the solution is also man-made.

Self-religion is a workaround to Life - There's no need for such illusion! We are indeed HERE sharing this planet, sharing this present moment, now, while you read these words and I share myself with you. Let's stop and Breathe.

Realise that self-religion is a cave without living conditions - Have we lost the Life that exist within us?

Breathe in, breath out. You're alive. This is what matters. This is our common matter.

That is the Self-Honesty that we need.
To be humble to recognise that we are all responsible for accepting the mess manifested in this world. Each single human being.  Learn to forgive yourself and start again. We must RELY-ON-Ourselves.

Day 65: 2012 The bubble about to burst: Money

The distraction we currently exist as has been accumulating. How many of us is looking for answers in signs, in apparent coincidences, in numbers, in colours, in names, in light, always somewhere outside oneself, without ever considering to stop such separation?
Our existence is the result of an accumulation process: the accumulation of backchat, of memories, of beliefs, of knowledge, habits, patterns, etc. Each one is being responsible for filling the bubble that we survive in and everything around us is the reflection of those bubbles. Consequently, if we are tired of the way we have been existing, then the economic system, the eco-system, the family system, the education system and the health system is also about to burst...

Let's take the example of money. Each one of us has established a relationship with money, either we wanted it or not. Some may have a very friendly relationship, meaning that money is always there, without worries; for others, money is synonymous of fear, like a constant alarm ringing in one's mind; perhaps for others the relationship with money is a game of emotions whereby people enjoy being on the edge and feeling the adrenaline of wining and losing it.

Over the past month I have been realising how time is compressed in what my relationship with money is concerned. The fear of taking decisions envolving money appeared when I started to live by my own in France. Interestingly enough, I was not aware of this constant backchat about money. Never realised how I was manipulating my decisions based on the fear of not having money in the future. Looking at it now, I realise that perhaps this fear was already part of me: I don't have rich parents and the trend in Portugal is to save money. So I got used to the feeling of guilt when spending money.
As I was saying, time is challenging my relationships with everything and money is not an exception.  The fear of taking decisions based on the fear of not being able to earn money in the future is a complete self-sabotage and self-dishonesty - because within this backchat I am actually saying to myself that I am not able to take decisions that will improve my life and that I am not responsible for my direction. By deconstructing this pattern, I see that all I have to do is to Forgive myself for having accepted and allowed to feed such ideas about myself (as a personality), to finally change how I deal with my own self. The truth is: I have no choice rather than taking care of myself in self-respect and being responsible for my actions and my existence in the world. Being stable within, as without.

Emotionally speaking, I realise how I still judge myself when thinking that I bought the wrong product, or how I still get nervous when I am about to buy something, needing to check the product over and over again (based on the fear of making a mistake!).  On these moments I am completely of the mind, in my bubble, disregarding everyone around me...
The interesting thing I see about the relationship with money is that I must make peace with money. Everyone's LIFE depends on it. So why am I against money itself?
Money is like an instrument we need to play music. It makes sense to be against the current money system, since it is not allowing everyone to have the instrument required to play the music called Life. But once everyone gets it, than everyone will be able to play THE music, to listen to everyone's music and to dance the music of LIFE.

The big picture is: Life on earth is dependent on each one's bubble and each one's bubble is dependent on everyone's bubble.

Therefore, before the bubble bursts without any awarning, we can prepare ourselves by changing the system-relationship with have with money, with life and with our own selves. As you see, there is no choice. We will face these patterns over and over again until we transcend it, by practically changing the words we speak and then living these same words.

Until now we have been experiencing the manifested consequence of such relationship since the starting point has been of separation. From now on, we must allow Oneness and Equality to be the key of our existence. Once we change our starting point, we will then realise that the whole money system requires a big transformation.

We will ALL finally live in real freedom. We will see that bubbles are no longer required. We already breathe the same air! Have you ever challenged you own accepted "truths"? Have you ever thought that money can be the key to support everyone equally? Give it a try. All we lose is the idea we have about the world-as-we-know-it and about ourselves. LIFE remains.

Day 64: How much time do we have?

In a society where time is money, I ask yourself: how much time do you have? How much time would you like to have? Why and what would you do with that time? How have you been spending your time?

Poster design by Ignition Print
Imagine a world ruled by time where people’s lives are dependent on the time they own; people have to work to earn time and each action costs time. For many time is a limitation, for others not even the sky is the limit since they can have hundreds of years. Once you reach 25 you have to work to win time, otherwise your time is over and you die. There are different zones, the rich and the poor, according to the time people have to spend. In order to keep the population controlled, the time things cost is constantly changing, as well as the interest rates are always increasing, and people find themselves without enough time to survive. This is what the film “In Time” with Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried is about.

Now: read the first paragraph again replacing the word time by money.
 – what do you find? Can you see how real this story is?
Interestingly, I would say that this is exactly how the world system works and how money is used today.

The main character of the film is from the ghetto and he receives 600 years after meeting a rich man who does not know what to do with the centuries of life he’s got. Will decides to use this time to bring justice to the system. In his mission he meets Sylvia, the rich daughter of the main owner of the time bank and together they will bring the system down by sharing the time equally to everyone – as she says “stealing what has been already stolen is not a crime”.
In this context I ask ourselves: How can we humans accept that some live decades while others cannot even survive the first day of their life?

The current system is definitely broken, just like the majority of citizens. Why do people seem to fear the system to change? Aren’t we intelligent enough to fix capitalism? Do we need some kind of super heroes to fight a system that is everyone’s responsibility?

Now: Imagine a world where everyone has equal money. By this, the fear of survival, the fear of losing, the fear of not getting a job and the fear of failing will simply not exist. People have all the time in the world to contribute to the world and to develop their fullest potential. Here there is no 1st or 2nd class since everyone is considered equally. Products are not built to break because there is no profit out of it – so all we have is quality products that will last to the future generations. Children spend time with their parents and people can swap houses easily because property is no longer an asset. A place where you give what you receive, enjoying yourself in giving the best of you. Justice is based on common sense and what is best for all. This is what the book Equal Money is about.

Nowadays, when I watch these kind of films I immediately think about solutions - in fact, there's no point in accumulating knowledge and information without applying it appropriately! I see that this is the big challenge we have ahead and changing the world towards equality is definitely not a waste of time.
