Day 31: Why on earth did we invent heaven?

The only certainty you will always have is this moment. Now.
Ok, breathe with me. Yes, here we are.

Life is here. So why on earth do we believe in the hereafter?
These last two weeks have been a great occasion to give wings to the i-mind-gination. Or not:

  • First we had the huge annual religious event in Fatima (Portugal) where children are taught about the miracle of the three shepherd children;
  • then came Stephen Hawking with sharp words cutting the stairs to heaven with his statement 'There is no heaven; it's a fairy story';
  • and the cherry on the top: the “doomsday” didn’t happen as expected, for the sadness of many ego-man whose egos were dependent on winning the bet...

After all, what do we expect?
Why on earth are we willing to destroy what we have here, moved by an obsession of the future or the “well-known” hereafter?
After all, we don’t know what the hell is really going on...

"A belief that heaven or an afterlife awaits us is a "fairy story" for people afraid of death, Stephen Hawking has said."

In other words, people that fear to die prefer to entertain themselves with the idea of heaven. Wouldn’t be simpler to stop the fear of death? Well, that is another story.

Even though we have been to the moon, Life on Earth is still threatened.

We become a threat to LIFE every time a law is created against fellow humans, for example. This planet becomes a threat to LIFE every time a war is started by humans.

What I see is that people don’t fear to die... people fear to live.

In a world where starvation is still an option, where war is just some miles away and where the human body can be a painful target, there isn’t space or time to realise what Life can BE.
Instead of looking at the source of such dramas and fix it, people turn back to Life and blind themselves with the white-light-heaven. This is the fast-belief promoted in a society of fast-food and fast-solutions.
But we are now coming to a point where humanity agrees that this system is not healthy.
We have one rich planet but the majority is struggling while the minority fears to lose what “owns”. This is exactly what we have to look at if we are willing to change the direction humanity has taken so far... too far.
The more and more people are realising that without money, Life is hell.

Apparently, in "heaven" people have everything they need. On earth, people struggle to have the basic needs fulfilled, not to mention the animal abuse.
Now: if I tell you that a new lifestyle is being proposed starting with giving money to everyone for the human needs, would you still dream with an unknown heaven? If you could enjoy nature here, share the space with the animals, feel the calmness of the rivers, the fresh air, the rain in your hands, the taste of the tropical fruits, the hugs of babies, the body resting in the shadow of a big tree, the human care, be fearless and enjoy Life as yourself --- would you still desire to go somewhere else that only exists in your mind?

Look around you: all the other planets are dead! Only Earth has hearts beating... beings, we can only breathe in this planet...
This is the great project ahead: to honour Life on Earth. Let’s use the knowledge we have and the man-made invention of money for our own benefit.
If you believe that your life would change if you would win the lottery, imagine how everyone’s lives would be better if money would be given unconditionally for as long as we are alive.
Will we be eternals?
Who needs an idea of heaven if Life is created by us and for All Here?
Heaven = life given even to everyone = in the same plane = to become equal.

Day 30: Unpunctuality has a cure! PART 2

Following the Self-Forgiveness, my awareness about unponctuality and the practicality of leaving earlier from home is now into action. Ponctuality is a point of stability. Unpunctuality as self-distrust is a point that I am facing to transcend.

I am in the bus. At the moment I am stable, no rush. No excitment. No anxiety. I breathe...
There isn't any feeling of uncertainty 'if I will arrive on time'. There isn't the feeling of comfort related with the thought 'I still have some minutes'. This polarity of rush vs comfort... But there isn't an ilusionary idea about time today.
Since today I am giving myself time, I took a different bus for work and I am taking this road for the first time. I look around me, like a tourist.
By this I realise that being on a rush implies robotic movements as form of controling ti-me. Controling me.
... but today I am taking another direction. I never considered that. Time implies criativity.
When I am doing something new, time seems to be proportional to my enjoyment. Because I am here.

Unpunctuality is based on memories.

Repetition is based on memories. That is why, when one is in a rush and something unexpected happens, a crises and stress arise and the control becomes ineffective. There's no time to be creative.
I created so many memories of being late that in my mind that is the first feed of my imagination when I am thinking about the next day. It is exactly this starting point that is now being changed... Personality.

Day 29: Unpunctuality has a cure! PART 1

This was the first week of my life when I didn't struggle with 'time'.
Apparently there has been a fight 'against time' around here. The fight always starts within self. So the cure is within oneself. I am the cure for the patterns I create.

Being punctual has been an objective since I am young... I used to ask myself how did my friends could arrive at school on time, sometimes even earlier!
Well, the pattern of unpunctuality goes back to my primary school and by that time I was dependent on my parent's schedules.
Nowadays, there are no excuses to not look at this point in self-honesty. In regards to this specific point, it seems quite simple. Well, it isn't and it implies a whole re-education.
By analysing the '- why am I still allowing myself to be unpunctual' and '- why is it so hard to arrive on time', I realised that my notion of time has to change. Of course, in order to get new results I have to act in a different way.
As I wrote above, the fight starts within myself. I have been defining myself as unpunctual. By this, I avoided to look at the point in self-responsibility, realising that it depends on me to change this outcome. Here some of the side effects that I found happening to me and to other people by being in a constant stuggle to accomplish schedules:

- stress
- self-distrust
- impatience
- excuses
- rush
- tiredness
- complains
- blame
- car accidents
- motocycle accidents
- ...

If I am not willing to change, the same to happen over and over again.
- But where does this unpunctual behaviour comes from? Ideas.
By looking at the moments that I am not ponctual, writing and discussing it, I see a pattern in all of those memories. By experience I know that it is not enough to say: 'This time I will be ponctual'. It hasn't happening over the last 23 years... So I have to go further and see what has been my starting point.
First: my idea about time. The idea that I am able to do everything in 2 minutes. That is not physically possible.
There is also the idea that I don't want others to wait for me; but the end result is usually exactly that. There is no point in wanting to do something for others - first I have to do it for and by myself. Then, everyone will benefit from it. Also, there is no point in saying an hour which physically I know that is impossible to achieve. That is why self-honesty is the key in this process.
Until now, I have been perceiving time as against myself, instead of standing one and equal with time and supporting myself as time. Time is stable. Why can't I be stable?
Interestingly, it happens to not be ponctual regarding things that are a priority! It is a priority to get on time to work, to school and to sports. Considering that all of these activities are for my own benefit, I have to become this stability. I have to allow myself to trust myself regarding time and to direct myself within self-trust. There is nothing against me, except what I create against me.
All of these are brief examples of how the mind works. The mind is not self-disciplined. The mind is lazy. However, for me to physically exist, all I have to do is to breathe and feed myself! So, from now on, my breath is my starting point. I am my self-support as my body.

By this, I am also realising that self-direction as breath is all that it takes to trust myself - as Life.

No more fight against time around here. No more fight against myself in the morning...
However, all these words are simply my preparation for the action.

The change happens here in real time.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to distrust myself in the morning by thinking that I won't leave home on time.
I forgive myself for having accepted and allowed myself to be moved by the fear of arriving late instead of directing myself to move myself here on time. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to be limited by the memories of when I am running late.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to be self-dishonest when making an appointment and in the morning I decide to change it for later.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to believe that I have a lot of time in the morning, instead of realising that this is an idea of comfort which is not real.
I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to think of quick actions in my mind -- instead of being aware of the real time actions take in the physical.

I forgive myself for having accepted and allowed myself to believe in the idea I've created about time. This idea became a self-deception and I am the one cheating myself with it - I support myself to become self-responsible about the time that I take to make things.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to ignore the practical examples of being in constant rush. I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to not give me enough time for what I need to do.

I forgive myself for having accepted and allowed myself to define me as unponctual. I stop and I allow myself to start again in every moment towards the best for me, thus, the best for all.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to perceive time as separated from me or something against myself! I am the one who create the situations for myself - I am the one to be responsible to change the action, thus, the outcome will be different.

Day 28: Closing borders? Migration? Survival?... GLOBAL SOLUTIONS PLEASE!

The migration crisis between European and North African countries is escalating. The recent uprising of its tone opens up a reality that we simply cannot ignore: the interdependence we all exist within.

Yesterday, the Euronews reported that “hundreds of immigrants from north Africa reached Italian shores in the last 24 hours, adding to a crisis that has raised tension between European governments and prompted plans to temporarily restore border controls.” At the same time, Denmark decided to re-impose its border restrictions.

This last aspect refers to a change in the free movement of people, known as the Schengen cooperation, that has been developed since 1985 and which evolved into an established legislative practice with the Amsterdam Treaty in 1999. Today, over 400 million people live in the Schengen area and it covers 22 EU Member States* plus Iceland, Norway and Switzerland. In practice, the current Schengen Agreement enables anyone to cross the internal borders without undergoing checks.

The interdependence can be seen here as Equality – what it happens in one side of the world will affect the other side equally. There is no escape. By this, it is understood that we are ALL equally responsible.

As in every situation, one has put oneself into our neighbours’ shoes, both the European citizens and the African migrants, in order to see in common sense. A solution that is the best for all is now being proved to be the ONLY way to guarantee that past mistakes won’t happen again. I will develop about the solution further in this article.

The European Union is land, with population and set of legislation. The North African countries are the same: land, with population and laws. Let’s read in between the lines and see that these elements are all limited – not only by borders, but mainly by the economic system that “sponsors” POVERTY worldwide.

What we are assisting at the moment is an incredible wave moved by human SURVIVAL. People wouldn’t move from their country of origin to Europe except to improve their lives! When people are suffering, feeling insecure, hungry and without support whatsoever, people will search for a better place and for money. People migrate because the place where they live does not provide them the security, food and quality of life which are basic human rights for a dignified LIFE! WHY? Because we are condemned to the survival economic system that we have been accepting thus far.

If people had enough money for themselves, do you think they would migrate? Probably not! They would possibly move to another country for professional/personal growth and self-enjoyment, but certainly not from a survival starting point. It is not time to point the finger at anyone: instead lets use both of our hands to work together towards a different economic system, based on equal rights and dignity. These will be achieved by establishing an Equal Money System, where everyone has money for the basic human needs from birth till death.

Ask yourself: what would you do if you were in a situation of extreme poverty, unemployment and war?

According to the Press Release from the 3085th Council meeting on 12 May 2011, Brussels:

The solution presented by the Council of the European Union is a “More efficient migration management” based on “a need for a strong common immigration and asylum policy and efficient controls at the external borders.”

This is NO SOLUTION AT ALL. Please Mrs and Mr Ministers, this is a remedy that doesn't cure. In fact, it ignores the real problem here, which is the NEED FOR MIGRATION in first place! Until when do we need to watch the same images of people falling from boats again and again? Until when are we going to accept such survivalism in the world?

As the Belgian migration minister said "What is the answer in bringing back borders? What will it produce? Nothing,". "Too bad it is being brought forward by several nations."

With so many European theorists, deputies and policy makers, why don’t they/WE spend our time, money and knowledge in developing/investigating a global change in the economic system once and for all?? If knowledge became a limitation, then let go of the knowledge and think creatively towards solutions that have the best outcome for everyone affected by it. People don’t need to migrate or ask for asylum IF conditions are provided since they are born.

The Equal Money System is being developed by a group of international practivists to make sure that people’s lives are respected everywhere. The change required has to be global.

The current economic system is a carrousel and the Humanity is going through time loops... until we all free ourselves from it.

Day 27: 9/11 vs Starvation - who to point the finger at?

Today I watched this vlog by Adrian and it goes in line with my previous blog about the distraction around the topic that the media is currently selling to the citizens.
What he focus on this video is a comparison between the number of people killed at the 9/11 and the number of people dying from starvation since then. The result is 65 700 000 people dying from starvation over the last 9 years. But considering that in the world there are people also dying from poverty related diseases, the number goes up to 50,000* of people needlessly dying PER DAY. So let's say in 10 years, we are talking about 182 500 000, compared to the almost 4000 victims of September 11th,
However, the media attention goes to Bin Laden...

As Adrien says, people have the need to point the finger at someone. Citizens are now projecting their anger towards one person and that seems to be releasing and quite easy... But it is not real. People are doing exactly what they are told to do by the media/governments and they feel they are doing the right thing.
Regarding starvation, who should we point the finger at?
Errr... after all, we are not that well informed.

On the comments section, we can see a cool comment about this scapegoat phenomena:

Starvation happens everyday, 365 days per year, 24 hours per day. We have had this for enough centuries to see that it won't stop, unless WE, as humanity, STOP accepting such eco-no-me. If we continue with this economic system we know already what to expect: inequality, injustice, corruption, have and have-nots, incertainty, violence, insecurity, distrust, manipulation, happiness vs depression, stress, abortions (considering the cases where people decide to do it because they cannot afford to give a good life for the children), human traffic, and the list goes on and on.
If one wants to read about the consequences of such a man-made-mad-economic-system, you just need to open a newspaper, really.

There is no point in finding excuses or blaming anyone else besides each one of us - to realise that we are all responsible, since we, as humanity, are still accept this current survival system.
If we want to finally read about solutions, then it is time to read about http://equalmoney.org

The total disregard for our fellow human life and for all the other species of life on Earth is utter insanity.

Day 26: Osama selling news: divided media is now united

People want to be informed. To be informed is a right. Unfortunately, today's information seems to be deformed.

I received this article from the Financial Times and I said: this is so obvious, caramba. The media have a common story and surprisingly the different sources media are on the same side... In fact, this whole situation reminded me one of my  Theory of International Relations lessons when the Professor asked us:
- "What is the best way to unite the people of a country?"
... Err welfare policies? "No"...
humm political campaigns? "No"
... Err  football?
- "The correct answer is to find a common external enemy!"

This week's headlines are the prove that this old-fashion-imperialistic theory still works.
But wait a second. Ok, lets look at the article closer to understand it better:

Ah! No way... After 10 years Osama Bin Laden is selling again! These news items are great news for the media industry. It will be on the front page for as long as it sells. - Lets use all the PR crowd psychology to catch the human brain and eyes and hears everywhere! 165,000  extra copies...

O bay god! But what are we talking about? Media headlines saying "assassination", "pull the trigger", "dead", Vengeance at last!", "got him".
Is this what we want to educate our children?

Is this the real streaming age of empires?

America’s usually divided media is united on this mission, but these words feed, in fact, separation between continents that still seem to know so little about each other. Now people have more fear than before... An eye for an eye... one reaps what one sows... Some commentators say that this is just the beginning of a new phase on this war.
The media is not standing for what is the best for all. Instead, media channels are looking for their own visibility, impact and sales in the end of the day.

Ok, it's the 4th day... Lets see a bit more. Here it is.

The geographical perspectives of the media. Lets see how the media will create stories to keep the momentum... (looking for news is their job and how media makes money and we are all in the same survival system). As long as this story sells, we will have Osama and Obama on the front pages, regardless of any other important news that should be covered.
Just as a final note. The media was united on another recent occasion... Which media didn't cover the royal wedding?
As this article says, escape to Fairytaleland; escape to London in Spring.
Well, this time the western headlines went from Fairytaleland directly to "Rot In Hell", from the New York Daily News.

More than ever people have to be aware of how this all works: the human mind is based on polarity and humans react to positive and negative, whether images, words or feelings. Just like the economic system: ups and downs. The same happens in the media. Also in movies: ups and downs to shake one's stomach. Playing with emotions, stress, anxiety and we call this 'experiences'. It all SELLS!

But how limited life can be based on this...? In fact, there is much more than this, we just don't allow ourselves to overcome this superficial world cover. And who we really are as Life is not made of "ups and downs". These situations are making humans getting older quickly, being unstable and projecting emotional polarity into the world.
We are facing crucial times. More than ever, it is time for each one to take responsibility for what happens inside of self.
When a news story shakes you inside, just breathe and stop the backchat (judgements, for example)... It is the best way to support oneself to see things in common sense and not be manipulated.
It is time to re-educate ourselves. Then the media might start showing it. Until then, breathe and open your eyes.

Desteni 'I'Process = stop the Polarity within self!
